  3. Chill the batter in the fridge for 30 minutes to overnight.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line muffin pans with liners.
  5. Fold chopped cherries into the chilled batter and use a cookie scoop to fill each muffin liner. Sprinkle coarse sugar on top if desired.
