  • 3 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (28 oz) pressed tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces raw rotini pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1.5 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. In your crockpot, combine chicken broth, chicken breasts, pressed tomatoes, chopped garlic, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6 to 8 hours until chicken is tender.
  3. Remove chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the pot.
  4. Stir in heavy whipping cream, rotini pasta, and Parmesan cheese. Cook for an additional 15 minutes on high or 30 minutes on low until pasta is al dente.
  5. For added crunch, lightly toast breadcrumbs in a pan with butter until golden brown.
  6. Serve topped with toasted breadcrumbs and grated mozzarella cheese.
