Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract; stir until blended.
  4. Gently mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. For the filling, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  6. In the greased loaf pan, layer half of the batter, followed by half of the cinnamon filling; repeat with remaining batter and filling.
  7. Use a knife to swirl through the batter gently for a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 40–45 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. While cooling, prepare icing by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth; drizzle over cooled bread.
