  • 2 tbsp milk or cream
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toast pecans on a baking sheet for about 5–7 minutes until fragrant; let cool.
  3. Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in cooled toasted pecans.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft; cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. For the glaze: melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan; stir in milk and whisk in powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
