Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup white chocolate chips (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with foil and lightly spray it with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in cocoa powder until combined and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and foamy. Add the melted butter mixture along with vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients; mix just until blended.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
  6. For the spider web decoration, melt white chocolate chips in a ziplock bag; pipe onto brownies in a web pattern.
