  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 preferred)
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup sautéed mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 small onion (finely diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet or loaf pan.
  2. Cook turkey bacon until crispy; set aside. In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms until golden brown.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in half of the shredded Swiss cheese into the meat mixture.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet or in the loaf pan. Top with remaining cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and chopped turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for approximately 45–55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Allow to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
